We are currently taking contact information for the Spring 2010 Informal Recruitment. If you are interested please email untkkg@gmail.com and we will contact you once we start recruitment events.
Meet the Greeks is January 26th from 11-1pm in the One o'clock Lounge in the Union. Come meet with women from our chapter and learn about our Spring Recruitment Events.
All 8 Panhellenic sororities participate in an early fall recruitment which is held a couple days before school officially starts. The process begins Monday August 24th with each girl going to a different sorority party and ends on Saturday August 29th with Bid Day. There will be a break due to school starting on that Thursday. We look forward to meeting all of the potential new members.

FAQ about Recruitment
What are Kappas looking for in their potential new members?
- We are looking for women who display qualities of leadership, scholarship, and friendship (the three ideals of Kappa), who have compassion for their friends, and who have a desire to help in their communities. Because we feel diversity is important, our members come from many different backgrounds and experiences.
Do I need a certain GPA to get into Kappa Kappa Gamma?
- The Fraternity scholarship requirement to pledge is a minimum of a "B" average from high school or a "C+" average from the previous college completed term. Many chapters have academic requirements that are higher than the Fraternity's.
What is a Legacy? And what does that mean during Recruitment?
- A legacy is the sister, daughter or granddaughter of an initiated Kappa. We give careful consideration to legacies given their knowledge of and exposure to Kappa.
Is a reference required to pledge Kappa Kappa Gamma?
- A reference is required to pledge Kappa Kappa Gamma and chapters have the responsibility to obtain reference information about each potential new member. However, if you would like to obtain a reference on your own, it is important to know that any initiated alumnae or active may write a reference, although active members may not write one for a potential new member at their own chapter. Also, a personal letter from an initiated Kappa is considered a valid reference. Personal letters must include the writer's chapter and initiation date to be valid.
